Bishop Maluma's burial is being arranged

A bishop in neighbouring Tanzania has died mysteriously.

Bishop Alfred Maluma of the Catholic Diocese of Njombe died Tuesday at Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) where he was admitted for medication, Fr Justin Sapula announced.

And no further information has been availed with many questions left unanswered.
Fr Sapula said the Bishop died at 6.40 p.m local time and only added that arrangements are being organized for his final send-off.

His death comes days after three other Catholic church leaders died in Africa under not so clear circumstances.

In Uganda here, Kampala archdiocese archbishop Dr Cyprian Kizito Lwanga passed away on Saturday last week and is set to be buried this Thursday.
