Businesssman SK Mbuga has vowed make STV the next big thing in Uganda’s television industry.
The tycoon recently spent millions to acquire the struggling television station, and now wamt to take it to the very top.
He wants it competing with NTV and NBS TV for the number one position in the country.

Speaking to Xclusive UG, SK Mbuga said he’s dedicating all his energy and financial resources to achieving his STV dream.
“Yes, this is a project I’m dedicating my all on. With dedication, patience and a good team, we will definitely get to the top,” SK Mbuga vowed.
The loaded socialite has alrrady kicked off the recruitment process by swooping for star music producer Washington David Ebangait.
According to insiders, Washington will be responsible for producing all the television sound including signature tunes.
He has already started work as the station moves towards a mega launch in April.
For the past week, there has been major activity at the Buziga based TV station after hosting a Gambian music star.
Denmark based Gambian singer David Jay was hosted by STV at Pearl of Africa Hotel on Saturday night.
STV is the latest television station in Uganda. It’s expected to change the television industry in the country with unrivaled programming.
STV Uganda, a new urban entertainment station, will have monthly viewers and listeners party with a surprise artist.
The station will officially be launched in April after all the set up is done.
SK Mbuga is said to have as much as $3 million (shs10 million) to invest in equipment, product development, and marketing in the station.
