You’re clearly fresh and young, when did you join the music industry?

I started singing way back in high school. I was singing in the school choir and participating in entertainment

 

What was your first breakthrough song?

My first breakthrough was a song called “bwerere”. I made a remix for chameleon’s song bwerere and was liked by many including Chameleon himself. Most of my fans liked and subscribed to it which made me more popular.

 

Who inspired you to join the music industry?

I was inspired by Rihana. I like her lifestyle especially her music, she sings with passion and her music is so sweet to ears. During my high school, I used to mime all her songs and my dream was to sing like her one time in future.

 

Today, the music industry is growing at a very terrible speed, how are you prepared for the competition?

I don’t mind about the competition, all I do is minding about my music and promoting myself to the next level. All I have to do is make sure that I put more time on music and do more practice so that my songs come out nicely.

 

What is your motive in the industry?

My motive is to provide all my fans with good music. Fame and money will come in later but as of now am only focused on music and how it reaches my fans.

 

Many well established singers are quitting music, why are you joining?

Personally I love singing and I want to promote my talent. Love for music made me become a singer. I don’t look up to

those who are quitting but rather focusing on my motives.

 

Putting your lenses together, predict the future of Ugandan music in the next 10 years?

Ugandan music in the next 10 years will be very nice and hot. This is because more young and talented young girls and boys are joining the industry each and every day.

 

Young and upcoming singers have been accused of giving us bubble gum music, how different is yours?

My music will not be like that, I put more time and emphasis on my music. I will be so interesting and not bubble gum type. That’s what I promise my fans.

 

What is the message behind your latest hit?

My latest hit is a love song. It is dedicated to all those in love and those that hope to fall in love.

 

Among other male singers, who would you wish to work with?

I would wish to work with the voltage music guys. I like their music, they have a vibe and are very cool guys.

 

Away from music, are you married?

Am not married, not talking about it. Am neither in a relationship nor thinking about entering one. Right now I am focused on my career only.

 

What is your latest new project?

My latest new project is a love song. Am working on it and will be out by next month.

 

How have you handled covid-19 lock down?

I have spent most of my time in the studio making recordings and practicing all my songs after getting back home.
