This officially kicked off when the new Permanent Secretary Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities Mrs. Doreen Katusiime flagged off the travel enthusiasts for a trip to Murchison National Park this morning, Friday 3rd 2021 at Media Centre.
The group started in 2018 have lined up several exciting trips for Ugandans to embark on and enjoy their country. Already, 27-29th August saw the group successfully take a trip to Sipi falls in Kapchorwa with over 25 Ugandan travel freaks. The three day trip had them engage in activities such as zip lining at Griffin Falls, campfire, hiking and immersing in the different Sipi falls and abseiling among other activities.
From 3-5th September the group has partnered with Uganda Wildlife Authority and Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities for a breathtaking experience to the Murchison Falls National Park. “We are happy to be back on the road doing what we love doing most and that is having Ugandans enjoy themselves as they sample what Uganda has to offer” said Breathtaking Uganda CEO Isaiah Jobs Rwanyekiro. “We therefore urge Ugandans not to hold back, come out in droves and let’s enjoy our country, and create memories,” he added.
According to Mr. Rwanyekiro, Breathtaking Uganda always believed that soon we were going to travel again. “Freely like birds in the sky, we knew we will fly to our favorite places! We can’t stop dreaming, we can’t stop hoping in anticipation of those breathtaking moments when in unison with nature. The sweet sensational night calls, from roars to barking, whistles to hisses luring you to sleep. The abrupt encounters with nature’s best, from gigantic elephants to the ever abundant meek antelopes, from scary cats that dominate the jungles to large flocks of colorful bird species illuminating the skies! All these we never stopped believing, and now we are here,” he added.
Soon after Murchison falls trip, the group shall be headed to Kidepo Valley National Park, Uganda’s most pristine savannah park from 1st to 3rd October and this experience will cost only 650,000= all inclusive(transport, activities such as wild game drives, a visit to Lorikol cultural village, all meals, accommodation and a visit to Aruu falls).
