The proprietors are doing a great job, in response to the Covid19 pandemic, they are producingPersonal Protective gear for the medical personnel; hazmart suits, disposable caps, disposable gowns, disposable shoe covers, surgical masks
This is in addition to military, medical and school uniform apparels. All of this is from a correct decision to involve a private investor, that we made in 1994 after attempts to revive the company under government were failed by wrong elements within the implementation chain.
We are now looking at helping them export after satisfying the local market.
Therefore, we shall not take kindly to anybody that attempts to compromise our progress and plans. At 45 million people, Uganda has potential to grow this sector.”
In a statement, Nytil Chairman Mr. Kishor Jobanputra thanked the president for the massive investment and promoting BUBU (Buy Uganda Build Uganda).
He further pledged continued production of quality.
