Fallen local superstar Moze Radio’s family was a no show last evening as a memorial mass for the late singer was held.
Musicians Joseph Mayanja Chameleone organised memorial prayers for late Radio and his own brother Emmanuel Mayanja aka Ak47.
The prayers were held at St. Matia Mulumba church in Old Kampala.
But eagle eyed fans will have realised that Radio’s family members were a no show and no one explained why.
The prayers were attended by Ak47’s family including chief organiser Chameleone, his brothers Pallaso, Weasel among others.
Their mom, Proscovia Mayanja also attended.
When quizzed why Radio’s family was AWOL, Chameleone said they (Radio family) was invited and he had no idea why they snubbed.
“Go to Kagga (their home) and ask them,” he snapped.
Later, Chameleone took to Facebook to thank fans and followers.
He wrote: “I take this honor to thank everyone one of us who attended today’s memorial mass in loving memory of all our lost beloved ones. It’s always faithful to pray for them.
Thank you St. Matia Mulumba Church Old Kampala ,Voxanges Choir and the entire Media Crew for loving us and accommodating us in both emotion and Prayer.
Rest In Peace all our lost friends, Rest In Peace Emmanuel Mayanja (AK47) + Moses Ssekibogo (Moses Radio).”
The memorial mass were led by the parish priest, Fr. Pascol Mugerwa.
