A wild fire has razed a popular Guest house in Entebbe Secrets Guest House, a hideout for many Ugandans who seek privacy, is no more. On Sunday, an unexplained fired razed it down.
In a statement, Secrets management said the fire was accidental.
They wrote: “It’s with a heavy heart we would wish to inform our esteemed customers, family and friends of the accidental fire that engulfed Secrets Guest House on Sunday 30th August 2020.
Through all our efforts withstaff and neighbours to extinguish and contain the fire before firefighters arrived, we were overpowered.
We would like to thank all those who stood by us during this difficult time and who continue to stand by and with us.
Nobody was hurt or injured during the incident and for that we are truly thankful.
We thank all those who have reached out to us offering encouragement and support in any form and holding us in your thoughts and prayers. We are truly humbled.
Secrets will remain temporarily closed as we endeavor to rebuild and restore it to it’s former glory so that we can resume hosting you all again in the very near future.”
