The driver of the Toyota Harrier that knocked and killed singer Dizzy Nuts this morning in a hit and run incident had wanted to knock Bebe Cool instead, it has been suggested.
According to Ssaka Mwebe, the Manager Victoria Club where Bebe and the deceased Dizzy Nuts had performed moments before, the intention was to knock Bebe Cool.
Ssaka…who has recorded a statement at Kireka Police…insists it was a case of mistaken identity.
He said: “The intention was to smash Bebe Cool. Nuts was unlucky he was standing next to Bebe’s car. The driver in the Harrier thought it was Bebe entering his car.”
Though details of Ssaka’s statement at policeremain confidential, there is belief his revelations could help find the culprit.
Apparently the killer Harrier had been parked near Stanbic Bank in Kireka.
The bank is located just next to Victoria Club, opposite Sports View Hotel.
Its not clear why someone would want Bebe dead. However it is common knowledge that as much as he is loved across the country, many hate Bebe Cool as well.
An unidentified Harrier vehicle from Bweyogerere cruising at a terrible speed crashed into Bebe Cool’s Hummer knocking Dizzy Nuts, who was standing besides, dead.
The driver of the killer Harrier vehicle just sped off towards Kampala.
Dizzy Nuts made his name when he featured in Bebe Cool’s Fire Burn Dem mega dancehall tune.
But over the years, he has been musically silent spending most of his time chilling in Kireka, his home area.
