A FEMALE Member of Parliament, who was in the house yesterday Tuesday, has reportedly tested positive for the deadly Coronavirus.
The legislator- who has not been named for obvious reasons- is one of the three Ugandans that tested positive following the latest virus results.
The Ministry of Health earlier today confirmed three new cases with two being truck drivers and the other an alert in Kampala.
XclusiveUG understands the Kampala alert is the female MP.
And already, there’s panic at Parliament with some members- including Hon Odonga Otto- fearing for their health.
“I have been tipped to leave Parliament after a female member tested positive for Covid-19,” Hon. Otto wrote- before demanding the information is made public.
According to the Ministry of Health, Uganda has registered a total of 1043 cases since the virus was first reported months ago.
