Akon, Real Housewives of Atlanta cast, NFL stars coming for Museveni inauguration

World big names including superstar musician Akon, Real Housewives of Atlanta stars; Posha Williams, Shree Whitfield and Micheal Epps, and NFL legends among others are coming to Uganda to attend president- elect, Yoweri Kaguta Tibuhaburwa Museveni’s inauguration set for tomorrow, Wednesday.

The entourage arrives this Tuesday afternoon.
According to info on our desk, the Senegalese-American RnB singer Akon will perform at Museveni’s swearing-in.

Akon last month announced a new futuristic and sustainable city project in Uganda.
The singer cum investor was in the country on a four day visit and is said to have personally told President Museveni that he would love to attend and perform for him at his inauguration.

Ugandans will have a chance to watch him perform live on television.

Akon and the American celebrities will be received by Senior Presidential Advisor on Diaspora Ambassador Hajj Abbey Walusimbi.

Akon returns with a group other artists, actors and investors to the Pearl of Africa.
They include; Mr. Simon IyoreGuoBadia
Founder &CEO of SIMCOL Group. He is also a philanthropist.

Akon and his wife were in the country last month

Others are Porsha Dyanne Williams an actress, musician & civil rights activist.
Sheree Whitfield, an actor, fashion designer and entrepreneur, Israel Idonije, Actor & Former NFL Player for the Cleveland Browns, Andre Lamont Johnson, a former NFL Player for the Houston Texans, David Fair Young, a former NFL Player for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Mr. Musah Hussein, a PA to Mr Akon, Dr.Fasil Tekola Ayele
Consultant Epidemiologist at National Institute of Health of the United States, Mr. David L. Anderson Jr, the Chairman, Anderson Royal Industries in Chicago, Illinois, Mike Epps
African American Actor, Film Director and
Philanthropist, and Ms. Dominique Alexander
Co-Founder of The Shade Room media house will all arrive this afternoon.

Akon personally asked Museveni for an invitation

The incumbent, Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Museveni was declared winner of the January,14 polls after beating National Unity Platform’s Robert Kyagulanyi also known as Bobi Wine, his closest rival.
Museveni will consequently be sworn in for his sixth term on May 12.
