Police is investigating various celebrities, including musicians Hajarah Namukwaya alias Spice Diana and Winnie Nwagi- for allegedly breaking Covid-19 lockdown regulations set by President Yoweri Museveni.


Other musicians in trouble include; Ffefe Buusi, Chozen Blood, Coco Finger, King Saha, Chagga, Papa Cidy, The Ghetto Triplets crew among others.

Police has received continued complaints and reports that most musicians continue to disregard President Yoweri Museveni’s regulations to stop the spread of the killer Covod-19 currently wrecking the world.

While addressing the press today, Police Spokesperson Fred Enanga confirmed: “We got intelligence of some celebrities who were hosting house parties within their homes. Our intelligence is following up on them and very soon, we shall have them arrested and charged.”

A number of musicians have either stupidly or ignorantly posted group pictures on Facebook and Instagram while in lockdown.
Particularly, Spice Diana has been the major culprit, at one time even posting photos flaunting with Police officers.
Then at one point, she posted various photos with Nwagi, Chozen, Ffefe and many others.
This development comes as Security continues to

effect adherence to regulations.
The Joint Security Task Force over the weekend arrested 480 suspects in and around Kampala Metropolitan Policing area for defying the Presidential directives on COVID-19.

The suspects were arrested during joint security operation last night from various places.

They were arrested from areas of Nakulabye, Kasubi, Namungona, Kawempe, Maganjo, Nansana, Masitowa, Lubigi, Kisasi, Kyanja, Mutungo, Banda, Kireka and Kinawataka.

Many of the suspects were found drinking in bars, walking past curfew time, operating shops and others were found selling drugs during curfew time.

Exhibits recovered from them include among others suspected narcotic drugs and alcohol of different brands.
The suspects are currently detained at different Police Stations in Kampala Metropolitan Policing area as we investigate allegations of being in possession of suspected narcotics , disobedience of lawful orders and Doing a negligent act likely to cause an infection of disease .

The operation was led by the Commander Kampala Metropolitan Police CP Moses Kafeero.

Their files are being worked on and they will all in court.
The same will apply with musicians and other celebrities.
