Dancehall musician Michael Mugwanya- alias King Michael- has left politics and wants to concetrate on music for his fans.
Speaking to Xclusive UG, the talented dancehall muffin said he had realised politics had become divisive among his fans, something that has disturbed him.
Ever since music promoter Balam Barugahara denied him a chance of
meeting the president, King Michael has since quit politics asw he looks to giving fans good music. This is in a bid to reignite his faltering music career.
And going forward, King Michael insists that politics is something of the past and asked Bobi Wine and People Power to forgive and forget as they look to the future.
“Politics is not worth my time and effort. It was bringing me more issues than anything else. I’m sorry to Bobi and People Power. What I’m looking forward to now is music,” King Michael told us.
And true to his word, the singer is set to release a new album in April this year.

And he further revealed that he will hold a listener’s party before flying to South Africa for the Easter concerts.
Speaking to Xclusive UG, Michael asked promoters all over the world to book him since he’s no longer into politics which had proven divisive lately.
And thankfully he is already landing mega deals. As you read this, a top promoter identified as Jimmy ‘Gearbox’ Masolo has already booked him for the Easter shows.
Masolo (pictured above) is one of the top businessmen based in South Africa. He deals in car spare parts among other businesses.
We hear the promoter has also promised to clear all Michael’s debts as the two look to work together for the next three years.
