OVER a third of couples in Kampala are in sexless relationships, new research shows.
The 36 per cent not having any sex rises to 38 per cent in over-50s.
A poll of 2,000 adults found only 53 per cent had sex in the last month.
But more than a third haven’t for a year — whether in a relationship or not.
This follows constant reports of couple’s especially celeb couples always in the news for breaking up.
Among couples, 34 per cent said having kids killed their sex life, the poll found.
The surprising results also showed that over half (51 per cent) of singlescrave more intimacy in their lives while 41 per cent of those in relationships feel the same way.
Xclusive UG researchers found that the average adult hasn’t been told they are attractive for 345 days, hasn’t been kissed romantically in 266 days and hasn’t been hugged in that way for 238 days.
Apparently not many singles have hope as 68 per cent say it’s hard to find a partner.
And their sorrow at the lack of intimacy in their lives is heightened in the run-up to Christmas, researchers found.
