EDDY KENZO has described his meeting with President Yoweri Museveni as ‘a great pleasure’ and said Uganda’s security is the best in all the countries he’s been to.
The singer- who has travelled almost the entire world for musical performances- also requested government for security.
He claimed his life is in danger.
Kenzo was addressing journalists earlier today at Mestil Hotel in Nsambya.
Speaking about Bobi Wine, Kenzo insisted the two were great friends but said he would not be involved in campaigning for himlike he had started.
“Mr. Kyagulanyi [Bobi Wine] is my friend but I will never campaign for him again. I will support him and vote for him but won’t campaign for him.”
He added: “My safety is at stake, I request any concerned authority to accord me security. It was an achievement to meet President Museveni and I am proud of it just like anyone else would.”
“Uganda is a peaceful country compared to some of the countries I have visited during my musical tours”. “I shall NOT campaign for Bobi Wine in 2021”
Kenzo met president Museveni early this week at State House.
