Flavia Namulindwa and Zahara Totto are the most watched female television presenters in entertainment as of 21 September, a new research shows.
The list was released by Major Media, a reputable research firm in Uganda.
The survey administered questionnaires to 5000 people from each of the five divisions of Kampala.
The sampling was stratified meaning that the area in which the research was conducted was subdivided into an equal number of respondents.
The survey interviewed 70% of respondents below the age of thirty and 30% of the respondents above the age of 30, in line with Uganda’s demographic/population structure.
50% of the respondents were male while another 50%were female.
Flavia Namulindwa presents or rather has been presenting Full Doz on Bukedde TV while Zahara Totto co-hosts Uncut on NBS and Sanyuka TVs.
They are followed by Faridah Nakazibwe and Anita Fabiola (pictured). While Nakazibwe is majorly into mainstream news, most viewers categorize her Mwasuze Mutya program in the entertainment programs.
Fabiola and Nakazibwe tie in second position. Gabbie Ntate of Livewire and Anatalia Ozze, Zahara’s co-host on Uncut tie in third position.
Others are Dorah Namaala, Diana Nabatanzi, Fifi Da Queen, Ray P (Live Wire), Robinah Mweruka, Sharitah Mutaawe, Sheila Gashumba, Ann Taylor, Karitas Karisimbi, Nankya Jamie, Tina Fierce, Bettina Teira, and Momo 19.
