FORGET THE Mukono town of back in the day.
The once small town, along Kampala/Jinja Highway, is fast rising with an impressive emerging skyline.

The new Mukono skyline is filtered with new storied buildings stepping out of the old league structures of Dukha buildings of the 1940s commercial houses plan, brought in Uganda by Indian traders.
Each road around its central division, has at least two new structures under construction, erasing away the old league face of commercial houses.
With the tallest building raising only five floors high, near the town mosque and the Church of Uganda Mukono Diocese having the highest number of constructions sites running simultaneously, from the hospital expansion to the synold hall and infact, it’s still the Church, with the biggest domant land in the middle of the central division, the town is on a steady move, to change its face.
Most of the roads, are incapacitated to carry traffic so fast due to littered potholes brought about by the poor drainage.
Its towns folks in the early hours of the day’s morning, slowly emerge from the various routes that find their way to the main town from areas of Nasuuti, Kitete, Nabuti, Kawuga, Kikooza, wantoni, Bugujju and other areas.
