You might know him as one of the best media managers in Uganda for his outstanding role at Next Media, but Joe Kigozi’s true calling is in the world of sports.



For starters before Kigozi ventured into television/media management, he was a sports presenter.

His 442 sports show on NBS TV alongside, Mike Mutebi and Aldrine Nsubuga was widely watched across the country.

Now word reaching our desk indicates Kigozi is venturing into sports once more.
Close pals tell Xclusive UG that the Next Media chief strategist is in the final stages of opening a soccer academy in Kampala.
According to

his pals, the academy will be one of its kind with top professionals across the world coming in to offer their expertise to football loving kids.

Though details of the academy remain a top secret, Kigozi’s pals tell us the academy should be operational by April this year.

“Everything is moving according to plan. Joe has a masterplan and wants it to work. It will work without a doubt. He is determined to grow football in this country. His passion for the sport is no secret,” one pal told us.

We hear Kigozi has invested millions of shillings into the project that will cate for both male and female children.

Now you know where to take you kid if you want him to become the next Lionel Messi.
