All was set for the Miss World 2018 Finale as the reigning Miss World, Manushi Chillar, put the crown on the head of her successor in Sanya – Miss Mexico,the cool Venessa Ponce De Leon in Hainan Province, China today -Saturday 8th December.
Uganda’s Quiin Abenakyo was crowned Miss World-Africa the 68th Miss World, and the details were live telecast.
Uganda surely voted for their Queen – Quiin Abenakyo, who according to the poll results on the official Miss World website had a standing of4th position, a history in the making for the country.
Quiin Abenakyo, 22, a business computing student at 4.94% won the crown of Miss World – Africa and she has been good to get this far.
But as it was by, at the end of the show the least anticipated queen, Miss Mexico took the world’s beauty crown.
Brenda Nanyonjo who is also in china as the baby sitter, couldn’t help hold back her tears while waving the Ugandan Flag with the words “you have done us proud Quinn”
Quinn Abenakyo has notched with the heights, a thing many Ugandans believe is going to be a bench mark for the next miss Uganda.
