The obsession dubbed “I Choose peace” is trending on social media with the hash tag #IChoosePeace shared all over. This civil society move is an initiative by I Choose Peace UG. #IChoosePeaceUG

For months there has been talk and threats of post-election violence with some candidates ready to dispute the election outcome.

 

While police

boss Gen Kale Kayihura and the CDF Gen Katumba Wamala have strongly warn against violence, the corporate world has also come out to advocate for peace.
