Gagamel CEO Bebe Cool has finally spoken out about his standoff with Jazz Safari boss Tshaka Mayanja.

Over the weekend the two had bitter exchanges on facebook with Tshaka claiming that Bebe Cool did not write the lyrics of his song Love You Every Day, while Bebe insisted he wrote half the lyrics and the rest was written by the song producer Michael Fingers.

However Tshaka claims the song was written by Esther Nabaasa, the former Tusker Project Fame star.

Ever since the verbal weaponry, the public has been wondering what could be the problem between the two music giants.

In a phone conversation that lasted one hour and eleven minutes, Bebe Cool lifted the lid on what is the problem between the two.

“Tshaka had always wanted to dominate Serena Hotel. He feels if Ugandan musicians start holding concerts at Serena, his Jazz Safari gigs

will lose popularity. He feels Serena arena is only his kind of concerts,” Bebe said.

The singer also revealed that Tshaka was never happy with the previous artistes who held their launches at Serena like Juliana Kanyomozi, Desire Luzinda, Judith Babirye and a few others.

“He never liked the whole idea in the first place. He did not initiate biff with these others because he felt they were not a big challenge. But with me he knows am a trend setter in this music business. Once I do something, very many musicians will jump suit. Chameleone has one in December. Others will definitely follow. Now this is what scares Tshaka.

By the way he even tried to attack my concert weeks prior but I was too busy to pay him any attention,” Bebe added.
