Comedian Patrick Salvador Idringi has told People Power and opposition
supporters, who accuse him of betrayal, to cut him some slack.
The talented comedian has been under fire since it emerged he acquired Kololo Independence Grounds on a free for his Africa Laughs comedy
show last week.
President Yoweri Museveni availed the spaciaus venue to the comedian after a meeting at State House.
Since the news emerged, Salvado has faced social media bashing from the opposition who accuse him of joing the traitors, as they refer Museveni supporters.
However, outspoken the comedian has refused to be bullied by bashing
opposition and insisting Museveni saved him Shs30 million, the cost of booking the venue.
“Thank you, Your Excellency the president of therepublic of Uganda
H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni – This was a perfect envelope, I need nothing else.
Balaam you are God sent..” Salvador wroteon Facebook.
And this post receieved brutal reaction from People Power supporters who have since bashed, abused the comedian.
In retaliation, unapologetic Salvador wrote: “At the end of the day, this letter (Museveni’s) saved me shs30 million. We are talking about value addition to my life.
The president did, you didn’t… at the end of the day, my family is happy, thanks to all those who supported me especially the president of the republic of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.”
