UGANDA Aviation Police has today, 11/10/2019 arraigned two Bolivia nationals accused of dealing in drugs.



The two were arraigned before Entebbe Magistrate court. They are Choque Condori Emilio, 24 years, and Martinez Villarpando Pedro a 22 year old farmer and resident of Chquisaca in Bolivia.

The two were arrested earlier this month when they arrived at Entebbe International Airport aboard Ethiopian Airlines from Brazil via Addis Ababa.

The police anti narcotic drugs staff suspected

them to be carrying drugs.
They were later taken to the Aviation Police Station for observation where each passed out 100 pellets making a total of 200 pellets of substances suspected to be narcotic drugs.
The 200 pellets had a gross weight of 2914.82gms and preliminary tests indicate Cocaine drug.

The suspects have been charged on two counts of unlawful possession of narcotic drugs c/s 4(1) and 2(a) of the narcotic drugs and substances control Act 2016 and the trafficking in narcotic drugs c/s 5 of the same Act.
